2018 California Governor run as an endorsed Libertarian candidate For nearly 18 months, Zoltan Istvan led a rigorous Governor campaign as an endorsed candidate for the Libertarian Party. His campaign generated tens of millions of views before he was eliminated in the California Primary elections on June 5, 2018. As always, he aimed to represent a mix of liberty and radical science and technology platforms, appearing on the ballot as an "Entreprenuer/Transhumanist Lecturer). During his run, he spoke at the World Economic Forum, collaborated for the Cato Institute, spoke with heads of state including the President of Chile, wrote over a dozen Op-Eds in major media, filmed with various major television crews, and spoke at rallies in California, among many other activities. |
